Is there ever such a thing as a routine training mission? Today, you're getting a taste of what it's like to fly in crowded skies - as a member of the National Guard. You'll fly into busy McCarran International airspace, following a group of helicopters landing at Sundance Helicopter Tours in Las Vegas, Nevada. McCarran is one of the world's busiest airports, and the airspace surrounding it is all the more so, because there's nothing else around McCarran except the strip in Las Vegas. Never fear, however, as there are plenty of experienced pilots from the area who know the ins and outs of approaching this tightly controlled piece of the sky. Just follow them in, and do what they do - and always be on the lookout for anything unexpected.
